Booing is the equivalent to complaining to the manager when you go out to eat. It's not to disrespect the cook, server, staff in anyway. It's to let them know your feelings as a paying customer. If booing does no good why do fans boo the refs? They have trained and practiced and sacrificed to be there.

Booing should be seen as criticism and taken the same. Acknowledge the problem and try to fix it. That's all that needs to happen.

I have a bigger problem with the 1000s of fans that left early. That is more disrespectful than booing!
