value from the education they are receiving? Most simply take whatever satisfies the minimum requirements they need. Many have no interest in getting any education and the only reason they are their is to play football and they have to do it for free (because they don't value the education). Now you give them an option to get paid $50k? This has a chance of working if they can get some traction with legitimate players.
