I don't think you understand how a league gets money to pay players

If people won't watch. There won't be money. And TV won't broadcast it unless they think people will watch. LOTS of people. And they wont. I'm telling you, it's been tried. Tis league won't be any more exciting than any other league that has tried to make it happen. Probably even less so.
