We are in the same boat. June birthday. I'm leaning towards starting him later

He's a pretty good athlete, big kid. I don't see any harm in allowing him another year at home with Mom, and then having an age advantage in high school. Athletics he'll benefit, plus I hope he'll have that extra maturity to be a leader and make good decisions in every day school life.
