I'm the same age and going through a similar process.
I'm in a very high stress field, which I used to find invigorating but now is just a huge letdown. I'm speaking with a career coach and starting to work on identifying skills I have and how to leverage into something different. Fortunately I have an advanced degree & exec level experience, but it's a long process and may require a move.
