They subsidize your rent so it becomes affordable. We actually kept a cabin in Utah that we come back to for vacation. And yes, I did take a bit of a pay cut, but it has been the best decision ever. I never knew what having real vacations was like, or this summer I actually have a summer vacation, and the church has amazing benefits.
