Maybe they will – but redshirts still take up scholarships so injury doesn't automatically = RS

Yes. Every athlete has 5 years to complete eligibility once enrolled full time.

No, that would not be allowed. He'll be a redshirt.

Not necessarily. He could simply be a freshman who doesn't play at all.

It's interesting because last year Inoke Lotulelei was on the Scout team but wasn't given a redshirt year.

Walk-ons can definitely use a RS. 31 on the roster have done so.
