Turnpike Lane Monday Morning Quarterback
I think the main discussion is at what age to start kids at with full contact.
I see some cities now starting out kids with flag football first to limit head injury. Seen the same thing with touch rugby in younger kids too. I think it is smart to limit head contact. Repetitive is the issue, so why start that younger than needed.

I first played in 7th grade. I remember getting serious headaches, and ears ringing after contact at practices. Never said a word to anyone about it. Just played on. I think it is common too because parents don;t ask, coaches don't ask, and kids don;t know better to not talk about it.

I think any full pad football before 7th grade is too soon.
