Not just concussions, but also devastating knee and ankle issues. That said, most concussions in soccer result from headers, where the impact on the head is much less than getting hit by a grown man running full speed. So I'm less concerned.

I never played soccer growing up so it's not a passion for me. So far my daughter loves to run (and she's actually incredibly fast), play basketball, golf, and swim. She's a bit too young for tennis but I absolutely love tennis and will encourage it. I'm fine with soccer if she wants to do it.
