part -- that was a big surprise to me. We stayed at a my niece's apt a little north of dupont circle iirc, so it was a bit more residential. We did use the metro most often, and uber as well. Worked out well in my opinion, and I don't recall going broke getting around that way, haha. Anyway, Crystal City seems like it would be ok -- I would have liked to spend a bit more time at Arlington Cemetery but we were extremely rushed on our final day there.
