Last time I went to DC, there were Air BnB places that had kitchens and multiple bedrooms that cost less than a hotel room. Work made my hotel reservation for me, so I went with that. But if I was going with family and/or taking kids with me again on a work trip I'd be seriously tempted to look into it.
