Clearly, but that isn't the Pro Style/West Coast system that Ty has been trying
to run.

Timing routes are the staple of a West Coast system. Before the WR breaks on his route, he is expecting the ball to be in a certain place. The pre-snap reads for the WR and QB should be the same therefore the WR should be expecting a throw to the back should (in this example) but if the QB throws to the inside shoulder how is the WR supposed to adjust?

Now clearly there could be instances where the WR made the mistake and the QB threw it to the right location, only game film with the coaches would be able to flesh that out.

I guess I am a bit contrarian, so I defend Cahoon. The Offense stunk the past two years, nobody stood out, so it shouldn't be a surprise that the WRs didn't have incredible production.
