Switching our starting safety to starting LB so near the season, put what would have been a player in the 3 deep but not starting at both of those positions.

It also showed the lack of confidence we had in the depth at LB. I too was dissatisfied with the overall performance of the defense. But I think they also picked up a lot of slack, in a lot of games, to at least keep us within striking distance if our offense could have done ANYTHING.

We'll just have to see how our scheme, and or overall production changes if/when our offense improves.
