Concerning college football playoff he says, "FCS football has a 16-team tournament to decide its national championship. It defies logic to suggest that FBS football cannot do the same thing. Of course it can. The power conference power brokers simply do not want to."

Agreed, Jay

He continues, "Imagine how ridiculous it would be to select four teams in college basketball to duke it out for the national championship. We could come up with a committee to examine the metrics and select four teams. Last year, do you think South Carolina would have been anywhere near the top 4? Of course not. Perhaps Gonzaga would have been left out, as well. Who did the Zags beat in the regular season? Florida, Arizona, Iowa State and Saint Mary's were the only NCAA tournament teams that Gonzaga beat. The Zags were UCF. Conference commissioners could easily have congratulated Gonzaga on its fine season, then disingenuously stated that Gonzaga would have lost more games in the Big Ten or Big 12 than in its cute little West Coast Conference. Heck, they might even be right. But it wouldn't be right."

He has BYU at 57, but we have conference champions that'll be in tournament so it doesn't mean he thinks they'll be an at-large team. He said for that to happen, BYU would need to beat SMC or Zags twice and make a deep run in conference tournament (to the title game I presume). Of course I think not losing anymore Pacific type games would be in order to.
