Are you saying they would eliminate Kenpom, Sagarain, etc.? Or that they would refuse to go by those?
That's how seeds are awarded. Gonzaga was #1 in Kenpom last season. That's why they got a 1 seed.
You can't put the genie back in the bottle, IMO. Basketball has gone down the road of using advanced metrics. I don't see how they could possibly say, "We're going away from using actual data, and picking Big 6 teams that we like."
Just FTR, Gonzaga absolutely plays (in many seasons) an overall schedule comparable to the Pac-12 and SEC. The numbers prove it. The ACC, Big East, and Big 12 are another story.
