I know it's courageous and therapeutic to open up and get your story out there, but you also want to be sure you're not still in a vulnerable place when you're offering help to others. (Yes, I realize we're all at least a bit vulnerable.)

Nick is obviously headed in the right direction, but he hasn't had time to prove that he now handles life's challenges more effectively. That will take a few years--which is not a criticism of Nick. I really enjoyed reading about his perspective on life.
