Just looked over quickly the last 5 years. Gonzaga is 22-7 against P5 or Top 25 teams in other conferences. I figured we are looking for quality opponents. (I looked it through quickly, so might've missed one or something like that).

Overall, tough to argue with that. They are a great program, and I define a consistent Top 15 program as a great program. Coaches Polls consistently agree, and so do tournament results.

And if you add in the NCAA tournament, they are 29-11. a 72.5 winning percentage.

I think that's pretty dang good. Now, not all P5s are created equal, maybe they are only playing the crappy ones, but there have been plenty of top 25 teams that they've beaten (and lost to) over the years.

They are a great program, and one that we would love to have in Provo.

I never thought I would feel inspired to defend a team other than BYU on CB... weird.
