Right now the MWC has 8 teams that average at least 4500 fans per game. The WCC has 2....us and Gonzaga.
The MWC has 2 teams (SJSU and AF) who average less than 3000 fans per game. The WCC has 7 teams that average less than 3000 fans per game (Pepperdine, San Diego, Santa Clara, San Fran, Pacific, Loyola, Portland)
The MWC has 6 teams that average over 6500 fans per game.....the WCC has 1, us.

MWC teams have much better fan support, and personally as a fan, I'd rather watch us play at UNLV in front of 6872 people than Loyola with 2202, and from an interest standpoint playing in Wyoming with 4570 fans vs Santa Clara with 1738 that would be more interesting. Certainly the WCC has better destinations though in terms of locations. But from a sheer interest standpoint I'd rather play a lineup of MWC schools than the current WCC lineup.
SMC and Gonzaga excepted, the WCC is just really, really boring to me.
