charitable and freedom of religion matters.  There was coordination before, but since 2012 it is much greater.  WCC memberships gives LDS members at BYU more opportunties to interact with the members of other religions in the WCC.  The Gonzaga letter to its fans about how it is mocking to dress as mormon missionaries is a concrete sign that the interfaith relationships are good.  Many really don't care about others dressing as missionaries, but the letter demonstrates a warm level of respect between religious leaders at the respective institutions.

To the brethren, this is far more important that the score of a game.
