I'm not advocating going back to the MW in football, but the issues you listed are not the problem. We could go back with our own contract, conferences still consider us P5 and recruiting wouldn't change. The entire perception is the issue, but then again, nobody takes our Independence seriously but us. Everyone else just thinks we're messing around until we realize we are going to be G5 forever.
