I'm not dismissing it.
The 2011 MWC had no interest in changing what had always been an equal model to an unequal model. You'd been part of the conference for 12 years and then suddenly wanted more money or you were going to leave. They refused, you left. Now, however, they have very unequal revenue sharing (Hawaii doesn't get any TV revenue, Boise gets a full share plus $2 million, Gonzaga is going to get some weird deal, etc.). They're not in the same position as they were 8 years ago. I think you could get the same deal as Boise if you went back, putting you back on par money-wise.

As for prior years, here's 2016 (in reverse chronological order this time):
Boise: v. UNLV (ESPN2); v. SJSU (ESPN2); v. BYU (ESPN); v. CSU (ESPN2); v. USU (ESPN2); v. WSU (ESPN2)
BYU: v. USU (ESPNU); @Boise (ESPN); v. MS ST (ESPN); @MI ST (ESPN/ABC); v. Toledo (ESPN2); @WVU (ESPN2); v. UCLA (ESPN2)

So for 2016 it's Boise 6 (1 ESPN / 5 ESPN2) and BYU 7 (3 ESPN / 3 ESPN2 / 1 ESPNU) but 3 of those are road games, so only 4 are based on your TV deal (1/2/1)

Here's 2015:
Boise: v. AF (ESPN2); v. UNM (ESPNU); @UNLV (ESPNU); v. Wyoming (ESPN2); v. Hawaii (ESPN2); @UVA (ESPN); @BYU (ESPN2); v. UW (ESPN)
BYU: v. Cincy (ESPN); v. ECU (ESPNU); v. UCONN (ESPN2); @Michigan (ABC); v. Boise (ESPN2); @Nebraska (ABC)

So for 2015 it's Boise 8 (2 ESPN / 4 ESPN2 / 2 ESPNU) but two roadies so it's 6 (1/3/2) and for BYU it's 6 (2 ABC / 1 ESPN / 2 ESPN2 / 1 ESPNU) but two roadies so it's 4 (0/1/2/1)

Here's 2014:
Boise: v. USU (ESPN2); @Wyoming (ESPN2); v. SDSU (ESPNU); v. BYU (ESPN); v. Fresno (ESPN); @UCONN (ESPN/ABC); v. CSU (ESPN2); @ Ole Miss (ESPN)
BYU: v. UNLV (ESPNU); @Boise (ESPN); v. Nevada (ESPN2); @UCF (ESPN); v. USU (ESPN); v. UVA (ESPN); v. Houston (ESPN); @UCONN (ESPN)

So for 2014 it's Boise 8 (4/3/1) but 2 roadies so it's really 6 (2/3/1) and for BYU it's 8 (6/1/1) but 3 roadies so it's really 5 (3/1/1).

So for the past 4 years Boise has appeared on an ESPN/ABC station 31 times if you include all games and 25 if you exclude non-conference road games. In the same time period BYU has been on an ESPN/ABC station 28 times if you include all games and 17 if you only count home games.

Basically, if BYU is as big of a draw as Boise, you'll be on ESPN just as much.
