have a love for the game to get anything other than frustration from it. Of course we're competitive and want to win as much as possible. That doesn't mean you can't enjoy the process and aim as high as possible. BYU is THE only non-P5 school to ever win the FB NC. That's a pretty big deal and some say it also lead to the BCS. BYU is a player on the natl stage as long as we win. Not winning is our problem--- not our conference affiliation or lack of.

Yes, there's a natural ceiling due to who we are. Would any of us change that for the sake of wins? I'd hope not. It's what makes us who we are. We're the guys who win in spite of less stars because we work harder and play with more discipline. We take it to the big boys even when we shouldn't be able to. I don't want to see concessions or excuses. I want to see resolve and playing with a chip. We need to quit wringing our hands and hanging our head and just win games.
