Just do not be against Independence or you are a stupid ignorant quasi BYU fan. I have probably followed BYU sports longer than most of the indy fans on this board. Sorry, but if they dropped byu sports I would be surprised but it would not kill me as much as seeing it dying on the vine like it is now.
Maybe all of you, blue goggled indy cbers know better. I am not saying that MWC is the best option. Obviously P5 is. I just do not see it happening. So is conference affiliation a better option. I just don't know. What I know is I do not like the current BYU sports product.
And the indy fans ardent distasteful disrespect for those with opposing views. I know it is a message board but I thought most of us were members of the church who strive to try to be more Christ like. Usual response is how about paragraphs, Money from espn is better. I could give a rats butt about money. I want to see BYU get better, not decline.
At one time BYU was seen as this David vs Goliath exciting team to watch. Now we are the Goliath in the WCC getting beat by supposedly worse teams. Our football team can not help but trip over itself while it gets destroyed by most P5 schools and loses to less than stellar non p5 teams in boring fashion. Sorry but this is not the BYU team I grew to love. I will continue to Watch BYU and hope that over time it will turn the corner and get better.
What amazes me the most on cb is the rapid large number of cbers heeding the cry to defend independence at all cost when ever independence or the WCC is questioned.
