Why does everyone keep acting like playing basketball professionally for

Six figures is a “modest living”. If you could go relive your 20’s and make 6 figures playing ball for a few years before settling in the real world to where you would be anyway, what about that would you say no to? If you think that’s selfish, that’s fine, I don’t really agree. But I disagree that there is anything modest about playing a sport for money.
