I would really like to care less. I have taken some steps in that direction.

I rarely watch BYU sports live anymore - I mostly just watch the replays of the wins on BYU-TV, and skip bad games that I know would just frustrate me. But still I find myself checking the scores frequently and reading lots of articles about BYU sports way too often.

I agree that life is difficult and stressful enough without worrying so much about trivial things like college sports. I think my life would be a lot better sometimes if I didn't care at all.
