of my life. I would much rather have the extra 1-2 years as a college star at a school that I love, rather than an extra 1-2 years bouncing from team to team in Europe, playing minor league ball.
I don't fault guys like Bryant and Mika for wanting to play pro ball. It's just sad to see them giving up something that seems to be so valuable, for relatively little in return. Both guys could have completed their college eligibility and then headed over to Europe to make some money playing pro ball.
And obviously it bothers me (like a lot of BYU fans) that their decisions hurt BYU. They have every right to make those decisions, but it doesn't change the fact that BYU suffers from guys leaving early - especially guys who have no chance of making the NBA.
