I disagree. I don't think it matters who beat the suspect while in custody.

And sure, the police claim it happened after the confession, but the police also beat the snot out of a suspect.

The credibility of the force as a whole comes into question, fair or not.

I'm as upset with Hardy as I am with Miller. He should have known she was in a terrible mental state, even if she claimed otherwise.
