I pulled another kid out of the water that was right in front of a lifeguard. The lifeguard was on an elevated seat and needed to look almost straight down to see him. The young kid was drowning just a few feet from the wall. I beat the kid's mom by 10 seconds. She came in the water fully clothed in the middle of winter. She probably had a cold ride home.
