But that's not the point here. As a professor my job is to prepare students to get jobs and be productive members of society. If their future boss asks them to look something up and they go straight to Wikipedia and don't know how to learn beyond that, they are sorely underprepared. Wiki can be a tool, but it's important for them to understand what an original source is, and why they should look for those.
