fathers who took those kids to games are 60, 70, 80 years old or more. Their kids are now 40, 50, 60 years old and they are us. Look at the CB demographic.

The problem is, we have not had the same type of program since Utah got good in the 90's. Utah has taken most casual fans, they've kicked our butt over the last 30 years on the scoreboard. We all freely admit on here that our kids don't have the same enthusiasm about BYU as we did. BYU just quit being top dog. It's sad, but true. Now we don't even have a G5 conference to bully, so we just aimlessly drift without much purpose. Every BYU fan I know that is passionate goes back to Ty Detmer, they are old. The next generation is apathetic.
