There is always risks to driving...but choosing to ride a motorcycle includes acceptance of those risks. The odds are that a car being driven as normal is going to be a higher risk to motorcycles than to other cars.

My son was almost killed on his bike a couple years ago when a car pulling a trailer pulled right in front of him. He hasn't ridden since and I am not sure when or if he will ride again.
