My dad (a U grad) was the manager at the Orem Macey's and got free tickets
and would take me to see some games in the '92 and '93 seasons. Years earlier when we lived in Cottonwood Heights I remember my friend coming over to my house and he encouraged me to paint a 'Y' on my playhouse for BYU. The earliest game I remember watching on tv was BYU beating Notre Dame on the road in 1994. It wasn't until after my mission that I became as passionate as I am now. I got home just after the 2001 season. The Crowton era somehow cemented my love of the Cougs. Probably a sunken-cost situation.
