I was there, too. Should have beaten the #9 team in the country. * Sigh *.
OSU had an amazing team that year: Eddie George, Joey Galloway, Terry Glenn.
We were mediocre that year (6-6 I think?) Walsh just couldn't get it into the end zone at the very end after 1st and goal at the 6. Not all his fault because he hit Nowatzke right on the numbers but Nowatzke couldn't hold on. Drage almost made an amazing catch over his shoulder on 4th down in the corner of the endzone but it just wasn't meant to be . . .
