It shouldn't be this hard to admit a mistake.
You moved your car into a space that was occupied. How can that be considered anything but a poor job of driving? The mature thing to do would be to consider how to give yourself the best chance of not being in that situation again.

I don't see anyone seriously disputing your argument that riding a motorcycle is more dangerous than driving a car and that they are more difficult to see than cars. That seems self-evident and indisputable. I don't see anyone really "not accepting this reality."

No one is faulting you for having a close call. We have all had them. It's the failure to recognize fault and to consider means for improvement that is really off-putting.
