His point is that the staff did some strange things in regards to his son's situation. He certainly didn't know what Lamb's title is which is the biggest misunderstanding.

Things that jump out to me:

1. Why is Lamb (even with his title) breaking this news to Hoge? Should be Grimes, Kalani, or Arod and probably in that order.
2. Why didn't the staff give Beau an opportunity to discuss and talk through things?
3. This is another example of the staff just looking like they aren't all on the same page and this issue added to all that we saw and heard from last year continue to add to the thought that Kalani just isn't best situated as HC.
