IF you had a time machine, and could go back in time 10 years, what different choices/decisions made by BYU Athletics
would you change? (You can ONLY change those decisions made by BYU, and cannot change anything else that BYU did not have the power to change.)
This is not a game. I know that there are fans of BYU who are understandably frustrated with the position in which BYU athletics (particularly football) currently finds itself. (4-9 is intolerable- particularly by a program with a history and tradition as rich as BYU.) Nevertheless, some of the circumstances that have led to where we are, are because of events that were beyond BYU's control. Example- Utah getting into the PAC-12, and BYU not being invented. (This has led to Utah gaining several advantages, such as increased revenue and exposure, etc.)
I guess the point of this post- and the question that I am trying to ask is- Has BYU just had bad luck? Or did BYU/Tom Holmoe/etc make decisions, that- at the time, seemed to be good ideas, but looking back- were not?
