FCS schools would never buy into this. That's why they come out with big wins on P5 schools every so often. BYU SHOULD have beaten the team that ended up in the 2012 national championship. They were right there. BYU beat Oklahoma like you said.
I hate to say unwinnable. I don't believe either Wisconsin or Washington are really unbeatable. I'm just using the word because of just how unlikely it is. But you're right. Fans actually don't have to go into something firmly believing in a loss. You might call it likely but you don't really have to believe it's 100% going to happen. There's always a chance.
