Both. I do a P-P-L 6 day split and an U-L 4 day split
With an optional 5th day available for hitting something i feel is lagging or for just doing different type of training like statics or sticking point training,etc.

I would never recommend maxing every day. Thats a great way to get hurt and i love powerlifting.

I prefer to do circuit and station training. I get the best HR and calorie burn
