This is exactly the type of game Tanner will get rattled in and become erratic (Picture the 1Q of the 2015 LVB vs Utah only worse).

Too many CB’ers think “Yea, and there shall be many which shall say: Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die; and it shall be well with us.” and since Tanner is 2-1 to open the season that everything is fine even though he’s not playing well.

We will have several opponents on the schedule that are good enough offensively that we will need to be able to score points through the air to beat them and can’t just rely on Defense and running the ball. Tanner will need to move the ball further downfield than just 3-4 yd passes, things that he couldn’t do consistently last year or so far this year.
