I wish CBers were judged as harshly for their performance on the job as he is.
I bet some of these guys would all be unemployed. They know who they are.
Tanner is doing what he is asked to do. Sorry, the loss to Cal was no all on Tanner. Dropped passes, a blown coverage.... contributed to that loss. Also, the whole O-line struggled to give the QB time. The D-line wasn't getting to the QB or RBs until 3 yards past the LOS.
It is easy to scapgoat one player — especially when one's whole self-esteem is dependent on a Cougar victory, but I suggest backing off and letting the players and coaches do what they do. OR have a couple CBers send them videos of their performance on the job.
