He had a lot of shorter passes yesterday, but many of them seem to be more by
design than anything else. BYU doesn't have the burners to play the deep ball, and when they get open, and there is a good pass, they drop it. The strength has been running the ball behind the improved offensive line, and that seems to be the identity of the team. I'd love to see someones analysis of the reads he's missing and what actually is open that he's missing. I didn't see a whole lot of that in the plays I rewatched from yesterday though.
