there is definitely demand for several thousand more seats but as I noted above they are not always all filled. A lot of people like to stay home and watch on TV these days, and they can. Even the subpar and under distributed pac12 network is still available to almost everyone if they want to get the cable/satellite system in their area that carries it. I have Comcast so I have it and I don't even care about it, if I did care I would rather spend the money to get Comcast than to get season tickets because with Comcast you would get every single game on your tv whereas season tickets only get you half the games. Some people are willing to pay for both so it is about time they expanded enough to let more of those people attend.
