whether you like the design or not isn't the point, Utah has envied the size of the stadium and the number of fans that attend the games. As someone that has attended two university of Utah football games and two HS football playoff games at RES this year I can tell you it isn't nicer than LES, in fact I don't think it is as nice. The press box is nicer at RES but the vast majority of us never get to go in there and certainly don't sit up there for games.

But the bleacher seats at RES suck worse than the bleacher seats at LES with less leg room, and the amenities at LES are better, and larger, and there are more of them. More places to buy food, more bathrooms, far, far, far better parking options, and much easier to get into and out of. Fan stores at LES are far superior. The scoreboards are nicer at LES as are the video ribbons although the massive screen at RES is awesome, best I've ever seen.

On the whole LES is nicer IMO with more room, amenities, and parking.
