Agree that the HC might make it very difficult to recruit/keep players in good standing with the school, and with BYU not being very minority diversified might make it less desirable to some minorities. But the other points that you listed are ridiculous, if not absolutely non-believable. BYU is a good academic school and is becoming very difficult to get accepted too, but not any tougher than many others, ie Duke, Stanford, Tulane, Ivy League, etc. And BYU not being in a conference? Some may not like independence but to claim a Weber St. or SUU head coach wouldn’t take the head job at BYU because of that is laughable.
