This volleyball season for these young women will serve them well throughout their lives as they move on. There is a unique connection that can occur between the broader athletic department and BYU alumni and fans, I feel, if the alumni/fan treats the sport performance as a diversion you can enjoy, regardless of the exact outcome, and keep in context that these are young women and men striving to be their best at representing BYU.
