Posts like these are so exhausting and silly
There are thousands of possibilities that fans will NEVER know the answer. Is there a reason that CB's ask these questions so often? Are CB's incapable of thinking of any of the possibilities that aren't a complete failure of the coaches?
1. The coach may not have been able to speak to a recruit during that time (As there are strict rules on this)
2. Maybe the kid and BYU were a bad fit
3. Maybe it was academics
4. Maybe the kid was given a reason and didn't share it
5. Maybe the kid sent a text to the wrong number
6. Maybe the coach did (we do know that USU congratulated on his scholarship and then said, "oops, wrong person"
There are so many unknowns. But at least you got to throw some disparity at the coaches. Do you feel better?

But why not tell the kid he gets to play qb? Give him a year. If he doesn't work out as a qb then ofter him a spot on
