The answer is yes. The coaches believe he is not as good as the worst QB we’ll have on the roster in 3 years.
Right now it’s Wilson and Hall and Conover. They believe Cooper isn’t as good as those three. They might be wrong. But that’s how the game is played. You just have to make your best call and hope you are right.

But why not tell the kid he gets to play qb? Give him a year. If he doesn't work out as a qb then ofter him a spot on
