But why not tell the kid he gets to play qb? Give him a year. If he doesn't work out as a qb then ofter him a spot on
the D and if he won't take it then pull his scholly. We have 85 schollies to give... it's not like we need all freshman to contribute.
It's what every other school does. It's not unethical... it's not disingenuous.....it's business. You think Chase Hansen regrets the way the Yewts handled his recruiting?
Puka hasn't signed with USC. There is a reason... I'm not sure what it is... but it seems he's not fully committed to them. Why not get his qb in our program? Especially considering his qb obviously has d1 football player talent.
