This is my main complaint about Rose. I agree with the OP in that most recruits
in high school in the U.S. would never want to come play at BYU. There are massive barriers to recruiting non-LDS American kids that most other schools just don't have to deal with.
But BYU - of all the schools in the country - should be able to recruit internationally. Watching our rivals bring in unknown talent from overseas and turn them into star players is nauseating. BYU should be able to do that just as well as anyone - if not better.
