My argument is that it's morality is infinitely more nuanced than that.
"So you believe that sex between unmarried, consenting adults is acceptable? In doing so you've excluded sexual purity from the definition of morality. Of course nothing stops anyone from being a wonderful and capable person in any other facet of life. To suggest I or anyone else believes that is just a straw man."

I'm saying that morality does not stop or end at sexual purity; especially between consenting adults who don't live the gospel. Basically not all squares are rectangles but all rectangles are squares.

sing this as the barometer, there is no argument that in overall society there is a decline and that the successful recruitment of athletes would suffer as a result.


Also the chasm between the LDS view of what morality is and the rest of the world (including even the most pious 17-18 year athletes) is so wide you could a million trucks through it. It's the same idea that has been expressed in this thread that somehow having 18-22 year old who want to drink somehow means they don't have the appropriate standards (and let's not get started on how history of the WOW)
